The Studio Tecnico Navale Giorgetti is headed by Dr Manilio Giorgetti who attends himself directly in cases of major relevance and is supported by the following personnel:

• Chief Engineer, with well gained experience in running machineries on board merchant ships, in shipyard and subsequently as technical superintendent of a primary Italian shipowner
  
• a technician, principally dedicated to Loss Prevention with particular reference to heavy cargoes and to damage occurrences and or to condition surveys on pleasure crafts
  
• after his recent graduation at the corse BEng [HONS] in Yacht & Powercraft Design at the Solent University in Southampton and after having gained experience as Megayachts Project Manager at the CRN Shipyard in Ancona, Gregorio Giorgetti - who represents the third generation of the family involved in the activity of the Studio Tecnico Navale Giorgetti - is acting as surveyor mainly dedicated to the Yacht Dept.

In order to constantly improve the quality of the services we are offering to our Mandates, we have developed a network of correspondents in many countries where, due to the high density of maritime traffic or to the importance of the ship repair industry, the shipping is very dynamic, in particular: Dubai, Greece, Turkey, Singapore and South Africa. This step has become necessary mainly in order to allow a more accurate monitoring of the repair activities of the vessels on which we intervene through direct working relationship with local correspondents, whose professionalism, reliability and esteem have been tested and confirmed over time.

If necessary, we can benefit from the assistance abroad of the aforementioned group of local consultants, even though our office will operate as the single contact point with our Mandates, handling directly the particulars and technical aspects of the case.

This imply that our office can operate in collaboration with foreign correspondents, with consequent saving costs, guaranteeing, at the same time, our intervention when the type and characteristics of the case under investigation will require it.

In addition, thanks to the integrated activities of the Studio Tecnico Navale Giorgetti and of the collateral Studio Tecnico Merceologico Giorgetti [cargo surveyors], it is possible to enjoy the professional experience of:

• a Graduate in chemistry, whose laboratory analysis techniques are often required in this field
• a Mechanical Expert, involved also in metallurgical investigations finalized to study in depth the causes of breakdowns of structures and\or or of metal components.

The activity of the technicians member of the staff - as previously outlined - is supplemented by the assistance of some selected external collaborators such as:

• technician of proved experience in electrical and electronic installations in ship plants
• fire expert, to investigate the causes of fires and possible deficiencies or negligence in the fire-fighting operations
• technical experts in composite materials
