This studio has been appointed by H&M Underwriters on major and economically relevant claims that have hit the italian market; casualties that with the aid of the Claims Offices of the various Ldg H&M Underwriters, have been successfully attended by our studio to the satisfaction of our mandants.

It is with pleasure that we can confirm that in some and not infrequent cases

• our mandants have been put in the position to settle indemnities which, based on average market values as evaluated objectively by this studio, were well below the amounts originally claimed in excess.
  
• the results of our in-depth investigations into the causes of the damages have placed the U\writers in a position to contest and downright reject certain - even important - claims presented by shipowners
• thanks to the findings of preparatory examinations carried out by us before surveys, it has been possible to have the Shipowner's Technical Dept to reconsider the opportunity of proceeding with a claim against the U\writers, which was at last withdrawn.
